Common Issues

This is a list of common bugs (or non-bugs) that Shape Machine users have experienced in the past with some tips for how to address them.

Missing/incorrect/nonfunctional toolbar

For information about how to update the toolbar, take a look at the Setting up the Toolbar section of the Installation Guide.

Shape Machine not working on arcs/ellipses

Shape Machine does not currently support non-circular arcs. Using the an elipse or non-circular arc in your rules or Drawscript will prevent Shape Machine from working properly. This also occurs when using non-uniform scaling or stretching on a circle or circular arc.

Shape Machine not working on hatches

Shape Machine does not currently support hatches.

Line weights not showing up in animations

As of right now, line weights are not supported when outputting animations from Drawscript.
